About the Author
Based in Saskatoon, I was a crisis and medical social worker, then I did a master’s degree in public policy about first responders’ mental health. Now, I am working on a PhD about patient experiences and their impact on benzodiazepine policy. I live all things mental health and substances. At every level, I noticed a contributing lack of connectedness among people from all walks of life. The good news is, play saves the day! I offer these questions from the heart. For no matter your situation, I want to support you in playing and imagining just like our brilliant children.
About Our Company
I have authored the questions without reference to other question packs or lists. Sometimes, I ask the kids to write some too. Many of the questions we ask kids are universal, but I’ve done my best to get creative with these sets!
Our logo is based on the work of artist Raya Regamey who likes to draw “heart houses.” Kelowna-based designer Joel Day from WeGAAB.com co-designed our product and website. He has a wealth of knowledge on both child-friendly products and the online world. Together, we are a proud Canadian company.
In the next chapters of our journey, we are committed to exploring the most eco-friendly Canadian options. We acknowledge the beauty of our country’s cultural mosaic and hope to translate our questions into many languages someday. Finally, with community and connection as our main goals, we hope to offer our product for all kinds of fundraisers in the near future!
